The Squash Cannon is the most advanced computer-controlled squash machine ever built!
Armed with several training programs such as Lob-Drop, Random, Decay Training or Interval training it allows you to push your students to unprecedented levels. Training for squash has never been so productive. At the push of a button, you can create towering lobs or bone-crushing drives with speeds exceeding 100 Miles per hour. Electronically variable ball speed and interval can develop a gentle toss ideal for kids to machine-gun-like repetition for volleys that will challenge even the pros!
The remote control allows you to control all functions without being near the machine. Pausing in the middle of a drill to allow for instruction is a snap. The remote also allows you to fire a ball at the push of a button. With this shoot button, your students will have no choice but to be honest when you fire a ball when they aren’t watching the ball closely.
It’s the meticulous attention to detail that really puts the Squash Cannon in a league by itself. Built for the vigor of the club environment this is the only ball launching machine you will ever need. Even down to the thermostatically controlled temperature which allows you to keep the balls at game temperature or perhaps a bit warmer to allow beginning players’ time to react to the ball.
There is nothing that keeps the kids’ concentration like using the ball machine. Load it up and watch how more productive training can be.
The Squash Cannon has a number of different modes with different timing patterns for more challenging and game realistic setup…

MANUAL MODE: Use the Cannon as always with manual control of ball temperature, speed, trajectory, and feed rate all with the simple turn of a knob. Ball speed is electronically variable from a gentle toss that is ideal for kids just beginning squash, to hard-hitting drives that will challenge even top players. That means you can easily duplicate the shots you need to practice; blistering drives, powerful volleys and towering serves. The wide speed range makes the Cannon a superior choice for coaches with players at different ability levels. The versatile ball feed rate is electronically variable from one ball every 0.75 seconds (for quick reaction volleys), to one ball every 15 seconds. It is excellent for teaching footwork and timing to beginners and for high performance training for intermediate and advanced players.
Letting the Computer take over allows you the choice of four different drill patterns;

RANDOM DRILL: Give the Cannon control to randomly shoot balls and teach players to watch the ball and improve their reaction time. The maximum and minimum intervals are selected by the user and the Cannon will randomly select an interval between this maximum and minimum.

DECAY TRAINING allows the user to select the number of balls in each group, the initial or maximum interval and the final or minimum interval. The Cannon will then shoot the selected number of balls at the maximum interval. The interval is then reduced by 0.5 seconds. The selected number of balls is again fired at the reduced interval. This continues until the minimum interval has been reached. Once the selected number of balls has been fired at the minimum interval there is a 5 second rest period and then the workout cycles back to the maximum interval and starts over. This is a great setup for putting footwork under pressure. Let’s see what starts to break down after the ball reaches the minimum interval!

INTERVAL DRILL will allow the user to select the number of balls the machine will shoot before pausing for a rest period. Perfect for training for fitness. Why not have your student sprint around and pick up balls during the rest period. NO MERCY!!

LOB/DROP DRILL: The user is able to select two different elevations and two corresponding speeds. The Cannon will automatically change between speed 1/interval 1 to speed 2/interval 2. This is a game like situation drill where you can practice your footwork moving around the court. This mode can also be ued to vary shots for practicing high and low volleys. Your imagination is the only limitation for this set-up.

HEATER SET-UP: gives you thermostatically controlled ball temperatures. The balls can be kept at game temperature or can be kept a little warmer for beginners who may need a bit more time.
